Things you can do before calling for an inspection.

- Check mechanical work records and receipts.

- Ask to see a copy of the title.

- Check registration to make sure it is up to date.

- Look at condition of the vehicles steering wheel and gas or brake pedals.
If the pedals or wheel show excessive wear but mileage is low, beware!

- Check the tires for uneven wear or mismatched sizes.

- Check to see all the body parts are same color (open trunk, hood).

- Notify seller of your intentions to have an inspection and arrange for
the vehicle to be available.
